# Introduction

Callout Lib is a fluent API for HTTP callouts in Salesforce Apex.

Callout Lib is part of [Apex Fluently](https://apexfluently.beyondthecloud.dev/), a suite of production-ready Salesforce libraries by [Beyond the Cloud](https://beyondthecloud.dev).

## Status

The library is under development and not ready for use. The API is not final and this documentation is a placeholder. Follow the [GitHub repository](https://github.com/beyond-the-cloud-dev/callout-lib) for progress.

## Getting Started

The [Quick Start Guide](/guide/getting-started) covers the repository setup: scratch org, deployment, tests and tooling.
